We have a dedicated team whose hard work, passion, and attention to detail ensure that the horses receive the best possible care and that the system runs smoothly. This team works together seamlessly, with each member playing a vital role at Upton Court Stables.
Ed grew up on his family’s farm in Herefordshire, where his lifelong passion for horse racing first took root. After spending three years as a race rider, he began trading horses on behalf of clients, combining his hands-on experience with a sharp eye for potential.​

In 2019, the family made the decision to sell their beef herd and transform the farm’s barns into purpose-built facilities for racehorses on break as well as for youngstock.

Since then, Ed has built a strong network of clients and established a reputation for sourcing quality horses, both at public sales and privately, across the UK, France, and Ireland.
